I Love it here at Kingsway. We are all one big family. God is working in all our lives. The children have great classes with hands on learning. Pastor Mark teaches in a way i can understand,no bells and whistles just king james version. I wouldnt dream of moveing my family any where else. God is so good, all the time.

Today we went to the Shelter in Winston and provided a meal for those living there along with giving the encouragement and prayer. Looking for a larger church van to bring more to church on Sunday where there is always a hot breakfast for all who attend. Join us some tine! Roger

The challenge on Resurrection Sunday was to operate in it's power. Like Peter before and after, so is can be with us as we step out of our comfort zone and make it happen. Come on now, we can all do this! Rog & Audrey

We have recently updated our Church Van to a 13 passenger model and continue to pick up men and women from the shelter. It is great to get to know these wonderful folks and do our best to help them with current needs, a warm breakfast and love and understanding. Stop in some Sunday and join us for breakfast at 8:30 every Sunday.

ATTENTION: Kingsway Chapel will be having its THANKSGIVING MEAL immediately after the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, November 23, 2014. That means we will be eating about 11:00 and according to Gene's sign-up sheet there will be some wonderful food to go with the wonderful fellowship. Also, there will be no Thursday night Bible Study on November 20 and 27. A new study will be starting in December!

Just an update on Thursday night Bible study - the current course is on healing - "The Battle for the Body" - class meets at 6:00 and usually runs for about an hour. This week's healing promises to claim: Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed, but thou, O Lord, How long? The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. (Psalms 6:2-3,9)

CHALLENGE!!! Our congregation was given a one week challenge this morning - To read God's Word for 15 minutes a day AND to pray for 15 minutes a day. This would give us 3 1/2 hours of communication with God for the week. If you are not already spending quality time with our FATHER, why not pick up on this habit with us and draw nearer to GOD.

Kingsway menbers went to Bethesda shelter for the homeless Tuesday night and provided a meal to the residents. What a joy it was to have times of prayer, pizza and cold soft drinks together. There is a lot of new and wonderful things going on at Kingsway, come pay us a visit soon. Thursday night at 6:30 there is free food and a great video... Do You Believe... Hope to see many of our neighbors and members there..Roger Raasch
